We are seeking qualified individuals to work in our new center as Addictions Counselors. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assessments, intake interviews, facilitating both group and individual counseling sessions and gender specific groups, as well as maintaining clients’ case documentation and tracking. Communication with other healthcare and justice agencies is also required.
Both full time, 30 hours per week, and part time, 12 hours per week are available. CSC-AD, or CAC-AD required; three years’ experience with a State certified substance abuse program is preferable. An ability to operate a Breathalyzer, and basic computer skills are also required.

The Maryland Coalition of Families (MCF) is hiring a Program Manager – Substance Use. The Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing a new state-wide family peer support program serving families with youth and young adults with substance use disorders. Initial staff will consist of six part-time Family Peer Support Specialists, each of whom have lived experience as a caregiver of a youth or young adult with substance use issues and will be trained to provide peer support and services navigation to other families.
